WEBER RIVER PARKWAY - RIVERDALE DESCRIPTION

The  Weber River Parkway Trail in Riverdale City consists of three miles of paved trail for walking, running, biking, roller blades, wheel chairs and strollers. The trail runs along the Weber River from the north end to the south end of the city. It is part of the Centennial Trail system.  On the north end the trail ties into the Ogden River Parkway paved trail. This section of trail includes underpasses at 31st Street and the railroad tracks. Trail users can now enjoy a ten mile continuous trail from the south end of Riverdale to the mouth of Ogden Canyon. On the south end it ties into the South Weber gravel section of the Weber River Parkway.

There are three trail head parking lots in Riverdale City. They are located just south of the Civic Center,  off of 600 West and at the north end of the trail off Parker Drive. Each trailhead has a bathroom as well.

There is also a short fisherman's access trail that starts near 1050 West and River Park Drive and leads to the bank of the Weber River.
