Before you head out to the trails, keep in mind that the temperatures are reaching some pretty big highs this week. Try to hike early in the morning before the heat hits and bring extra water. It never hurts to bring more than you think you will need and make sure that if you bring your four legged friends, that they have plenty as well.

Outdoor Adventure X has partnered with the Trails Foundation as one of two organizations chosen as the beneficiaries of the event’s charity raffle. OAX organizers intend to donate 100% of the raffle proceeds to charity, including Trail Foundation’s current and future projects that preserve and protect Northern Utah’s trail systems and waterways.

We here at the TFNU office are so excited about all the awesome people who have signed up for the Peak Challenge so far! We are seriously stoked over here! The energy is contagious and we are even challenging each other now. Keep those terrific photos coming!! We have a private Facebook page and a Strava Club for all those that signed up for the challenge. We also put up a Leader Board here on the website.

A huge heartfelt thank you to Rocky Mouuntain Power for addressing the extreme damage to sections of the Bonneville Shoreline Trail around the Douglas Street Trailhead are last month. These quick actions helped mitigate damages to residential homes, the Ogden City storm water infrastructure, a canal, and the accompanying reservoir directly below this trail.

On Saturday, June 3, 2023, Trails Foundation of Northern Utah joined roughly 20 different organizations to celebrate the national celebration of Trails. This year, the event was held at ENVE Composites West Ogden location. This location was perfect as the Trackline Bike Park is right there for anyone who wanted to play or demonstrate their mountain biking skills. .
