Greg Scothern

Greg was born and raised in the greater Ogden area. As a graduate of Weber State University with a degree in Construction Management, Greg has enjoyed a 25-year career in the Development and Construction Industry. Greg is married with two teenage children, and perhaps their strongest family value is to play together outdoors as often as possible. Whether on bikes, skis, or in hiking boots, Greg and his family rarely miss an opportunity to get out and enjoy our community’s fantastic outdoor recreation offerings.
Greg’s favorite activities are backcountry skiing and cycling, and he loves the challenge of competing in endurance mountain bike races. Greg is passionate about developing the sport of cycling for youth in the community and is proud to coach local youth on the Ogden High School Mountain Bike Team.
As a current resident of Ogden, Greg and his family enjoy the immediate access to our vast trail network, and he is committed to preserving that access, as well as maintaining the quality of trail infrastructure and expanding our world-class trail options for non-motorized trail users. Greg has been a member of Weber Pathways’ Board of Directors for 5 years, and served as Board Chair in 2014 and 2015.
