Caitlin Gochnour

Caitlin Gochnour, an Ogden native, earned an undergraduate degree in communications from the University of Utah. She also earned a master’s degree in public administration from the U. Since returning to Ogden more than 15 years ago, Caitlin has been an active community volunteer.
She was a member of the Ogden City Council (2008-2015) and a driving force behind many efforts to unify the community, including Ogden’s annual Make-A Difference Day service event. She was also at the forefront of sustainability initiatives including Ogden’s Idle-Free Week, the city’s Annual Buy Local Resolution and glass recycling.
Caitlin is married to Gregory Gochnour and has three children — twin boys and a daughter. She is a trail runner, hiker, swimmer and skier. When the stars align, Caitlin also participates in the annual Xterra Off-Roads Triathlon. She also enjoys books, indie films, old houses and digging in her garden.
