lisa hopkins in her Natural Habitat
It all started when we decided to ask each other some questions…
Weber Pathways: What’s your favorite non-motorized recreational activity?
Lisa Hopkins: Hiking the trails in summer and winter.
WP: What aspect of your favorite recreational activity excites you most?
LH: We live in a city where our trails are close to home. Within just a few minutes, I can be on a trail and in nature. The trails are a peaceful place to clear your head and get some exercise.
WP: What is your favorite non-motorized trail/pathway in Weber County?
LH: Any of the canyon trails along the east bench of Ogden.
WP: What is your proudest accomplishment with Weber Pathways to date?
LH: I truly enjoy using my financial accounting expertise in working with Weber Pathways to help ensure proper financial reporting. It is critical for a non-profit to be financially stable in order to continue on into the future and accomplish its strategic goals.
WP: Where do you want see Weber County twenty years from now?
LH: I want to see that we maintain our current trail systems and open spaces. I also would like to see more bike paths within our community.
