It all started when we decided to ask each other some questions…

Weber Pathways: What’s your favorite non-motorized recreational activity?

Julia Heavirland: Horseback riding.

WP: What is your favorite non-motorized trail/pathway in Weber County?

JH: Ben Lomond trail from North Fork Park. I love the fantastic views from the top and the wildlife viewing opportunities on the way.

WP: What place in Weber County do you want to spend more time recreating at?

JH: Monte Cristo Mountains.

WP: How are you making Weber County a better place to walk, run, and ride in?

JH: Maintaining trails and trail heads and working with public land managers. Being a part of Back Country Horsemen of Utah to keep trails open to recreational stock use.

WP: Where do you want see Weber County twenty years from now?

JH: As an area that has an extensive network or trails that is truly multi-use, not just biking and hiking but equestrian friendly too.
