From January 1 through April 15 the Utah Division of Wildlife keeps the Middle Fork area closed as an elk refuge. | Trailhead location: Access these trails from the Powerline Trail (See Trail #13)in the Middle Fork Trail area. The Trailhead for the Powerline Trail is the Middle Fork Trailhead, located at the east end of 1900 North in Huntsville. | Trail history: Geertsen Canyon Trail takes its name from a Danish Pioneer, about whom little else seems to be known. | | |
