Join us for an evening of river-side fun! Weber Pathways' eighth annual T.G.I. Fiesta! on Friday, August 19, 2011 @ 6:00pm at the MTC Pavillion, Ogden Botanical Gardens next to the Ogden River Parkway (1800 S. Monroe Blvd.)

Hors d'oeuvres from the Oaks Restaurant and Mexican dinner from Union Grill. There will also be a live and silent auction of some great outdoor gear and activities for all seasons, including skis from Amer Sports and bikes from the Bikers' Edge and Bike Shoppe!

All proceeds help plan, promote, construct, and protect non-motorized trails and related open-space in Weber County.

Weber Pathways' annual author event will be Friday, March 30th, 2012 at the Timbermine Restaurant featuring nature writer Peter Stark. A Montana resident, Stark is a frequent contributor to Outside Magazine. His most recent book is The Last Empty Places: A Past and Present Journey Through the Blank Spots on the American Map. The book narrates his family's exploration of four locations which showed the least light on a night photo of the continental U.S.-thus the last empty places.   Stark is also the author of Last Breath, At the Mercy of the River, and Driving to Greenland.

Weber Pathways will also present "Trail Blazer" Awards to one individual and one organization for the outstanding contribution that each has made to the development of Weber County's trail system.

Held in the morning on the first Saturday in June, this event celebrates a recent completion of trail in Weber County. The event takes place on-site and hosts plenty of activities for everyone! Past activities have included: dog walks, kayaking, bird walks, live animals, kids crafts, bike rides, fun run, and much, much more! Guests also enjoy food and live music. This event is free and open to the public.
