Weber Pathways consists of a Board of Trustees plus Chapters and Committees. Chapters have a well-defined focus, either geographic or programmatic, and can attract resources for its specific projects. Chapters have greater autonomy than committees and bear correspondingly greater responsibility.

The purpose of the Chapter must be consistent with the objectives of Weber Pathways as stated in our bylaws. Also, the Weber Pathways Board must approve all chapters.

An example of a Chapter with a geographic focus is Ogden Valley Pathways, which plans, advocates, preserves, builds and maintains pathways in the Ogden Valley area of Weber County. A programmatic Chapter might be one that works on a major trail that winds through many different areas of Weber County or a specific area like the Ogden Canyon.

Are you interested in starting a Weber Pathways Chapter? To do so, contact Weber Pathways at wp@weberpathways.org or call (801) 393-2304. We invite and encourage you to let us know about your ideas for any new Chapters.
